'It's blumin magic tea' is harvested from the flower of the Clitoria Ternatea plant. It is also referred too as butterfly pea tea, butterfly pea or Asian pigeonwings. Clitoria Ternatea originates from South East Asia. Its these exotic conditons that allow the tea to grow to provide its quality taste, health benefits and electrifying blue colour that caught the eye for us.
Once steeped in hot water the bright blue flower forms one of the most vivid electric blue colour's to exist naturally. However if blue isn't for you then like a chameleon it has the ability to change colour to purple if a slice of lemon is added!
Why does it change to purple?
Its change in appearance is caused by a change of pH levels. (The acidity of the lemon)
How does it taste?
On its own floral, with a hint of earthiness. If you add a lot of lemon i guess it will taste like lemon.
Spice up your life: Blumin Magic Tea is often enjoyed around the world with lemon and honey as well as can be flavoured with mint, cinnamon, ginger or passion fruit.
