Through our business principles we will strive to have fun, spread smiles and sharing our experiences.
Our 'Blumin' principles ......
In order to provide the best experiences for our customers we must continuously seek to learn more about the world of tea. Our network of tea farmer’s always has room for growth as we share their knowledge and we must continue to travel to evoke the senses and bring a small piece back to share.
In order to build our trust relationships we must provide clarity on often taboo topics such as finances, profit margins and key strategic decisions. We react with an open mind acknowledging our opportunities and insist on accountability around wrong decisions (We hope not to make any).
Customers will benefit from any economies of scale. If we can purchase 10,000 blooms of each tea we can drop the price on our product and actually start making some money for ourselves too. We have also set milestones in which we will give back some of our profits to the local community. Homelessness in Manchester is close to our hearts. So far:
- We gave away our first £300 revenue in the form of gift packages and cash gifts to our local homeless.
- Supported Cancer Research through a customers dry January Initiative with donation and free detox pack.
- Began a CV supporting Initiative to support those impacted by the Covid situation looking for work.
Every single piece of feedback is an opportunity for us to change or continue doing something that we are currently doing. We will respond to all feedback and use any to help us make key business decisions. We have a monthly review on direction (This currently involves a bottle of wine and disagreements on types of teapots and types of tea we must get here soon with our limited funds).
The day the stress levels of running a business outweighs the fun of the challenge we will pack up and leave (Well not leave as we are working out of our 1 bedroom apartment, but you know what I mean). We aim to not take it all too seriously, life provides enough of that. We encourage everyone to enjoy the 15 minutes of relaxation our products provides and allow all those ‘health benefits’ to take hold. We will set plenty of interactive ways for us to give our products away mainly utilizing social media to convince you to share your ‘blumin’ good moments. P.S. Its also our marketing campaign 😊.
